The 2018 Muaythai State Championship Registrations are now open.

The state championships will be held September 21-22

Competitors will fight within age/weight/gender & experience division

Competitor divisions are as follows:
    • Males:
    • A Class (experience = 26+ fights)
    • B Class (experience = 16-25 fights)
    • C Class (experience = 6-15 fights)
    • D Class (experience = 0-5 fights)

Females:
A Class (experience = 20+ fights)
B Class (experience = 13-19 fights)
C Class (experience = 5-12 fights)
D Class (experience = 0-4 fights)

You will automatically be placed in your correct division upon registration.

FAQ’s

  1. Yes, athletes must compete at the states to earn their spot to compete at the MTA National Championships.
  2. A, B, C class Gold & Silver medalists will go to Nationals
  3. Competitors will fight in the following divisionsMales:
    A Class (experience = 26+ fights)
    B Class (experience = 16-25 fights)
    C Class (experience = 6-15 fights)
    D Class (experience = 0-5 fights)Females:
    A Class (experience = 20+ fights)
    B Class (experience = 13-19 fights)
    C Class (experience = 5-12 fights)
    D Class (experience = 0-4 fights)
  4. ⚠️Registrations close in September 20th⚠️
  5. There is a competitor registration tally to see how many people are in each division at www.muaythaiqld.com.au click the State Champs menu option
  6. Yes competitors can opt to fight up in weight/divisions after the official weigh in, if there isn’t someone in their nominated division (this can also be changed at weigh in as some people may end up moving weights once they’ve officially weighed in)
  7. Spectator entry – tickets purchased at the door on both days of the event.
  • $20 per day or $30 for a 2 day pass
  • Kids (16 & under) $10 per day or $15 for a 2 day pass
